Walls Cafe in the Kirk

On my last few visits I have narrowly missed being able to get to Walls, way out on the Westside of Shetland, for the Friday Kirk cafe. This time I achieved it!

Such a friendly, welcoming space and very popular. You have to go early if you want to be sure of getting a table. Delicious home-made soup and a good selection of cakes on offer. 

Two grannies and a great aunt, we compared notes on board games we've played over the years and which are the best for keeping the attention of players of all ages.
