Carp fisherman

The Friends of Vancouver Lake contract with commercial fishermen to net common carp in Vancouver Lake.  The effort is aimed at reducing the large population of common carp that impair the water quality of the lake, by stirring up the lake bed sediments  contributing to turbidity and harmful algae blooms.  According to the internet and fish and wildlife.  Anyway they showed up again this year.
