The Coffin Trail

Both Andy and I ran the Lakeland 10km trail race from Hawkshead this morning, through drizzle and oodles of slippery mud (and it was rumoured to be at least 11.5km rather than 10).  This is at the bottom of the infamous coffin trail where there are signs saying "Can you survive the Coffin Trail?" beside various bits of a skeleton; sorry the photo doesn't do justice to the mud, stones and steep ascent we had to do.  We both came 2nd in our age group (LV70 & MV70) so we're both quite chuffed this evening!
