Spoke to DK in Australia first thing this morning and then went to Aldi to collect the foodbank donation. JS picked me up as soon as I got home and we went to sulney nursery. Apparently it has been established for a long time but until recently only supplied plants to landscaping companies. It was a real find- huge site with lots of choice, very healthy plants and reasonable prices. Only thing lacking is a coffee shop - self service machines only ! There were picnic tables and chairs and a beautiful view by the lake though (blipped). From there we went to a venison and bison farm for JS to buy some meat and we ended up having venison burgers for lunch. They were delicious. Very quirky cafe though - maybe not in a good way! Came home and unloaded the car and JS stayed for a cup of tea and a chat. Once she had left I did an hour or so work in the garden, mainly tying up the climbing plants. Did the usual collection from m and s in the evening, ready for Foodbank tomorrow.
