Millenia ago I used to go rollerblading with the boys.  The skates have been in the basement since we moved here as the topography of Malvern isn't really suited to skating.  Can't complain really - the hills are why we moved here.

However, a gaming friend from Hereford had approached the Hereford leisure centre and got a 2-hour slot on their learn-to-cycle track - which is about a km round - and was anyone interested?

So I though why not?  It's a great balance and core strength exercise for karate, and fun.  It's tonight.

Time to get the skates out of the basement, find all the pads and helmet, and give the bearings somewhat of a clean up and lubrication.

There were about a dozen of us there and pleasingly I wasn't particularly out-of-place age-wise among the other skaters, and clocked up a respectable number of miles.

Nice sunset too.
