An interesting lane.
To the right of this lane is the Leeds Liverpool Canal, to the left are fields which are used to grow vegetables.
About 15 years ago the hedge was extended the full length of the lane and the poplars were planted. Until that time it was a very exposed and renowned for being icy in winter.
To me, it is a much nicer road and it provides a great deal of shelter for wildlife, well done to the farmer involved.
