Rochdale Canal

We had breakfast in the hotel* restaurant and set off home at around half-past nine, which is when I took this photo from the car park.

We were back in Salford in good time for the Minx to get along to Pilates, and then we took the bus to The Quays, where we had lunch in Kargo, which is a bit like Mackie Mayor's; lots of seating, with various food vendors around the walls. I had an excellent jerk salmon.

And then I set off late afternoon to get back to Dan and Abi in Kirkby Lonsdale.
