Don’t be fooled…
…by the smiles! They were bickering then I told them to stand together for a photo.
Lucy has come on leaps and bounds with her skating, the extras shows her with her coach. Today she passed badge 5.
I reminded her that a year ago she was scared to swim and scared to skate and now she can do both!
Poor Amelia has the most awful cough and at one point couldn’t catch her breath. She doesn’t suffer from asthma but someone lent her an inhaler. Sabrina wanted her to come off the ice early but she wouldn’t.
She is so in love with skating she can’t bear not to do it. She has a competition on Monday in Bradford and Sabrina said if she’s not well she shouldn’t do it which made her really upset. We’ll have to wait and see how she is tomorrow. When Amelia gets tired in the evenings everything is 10x worse and she gets upset, worried and emotional about everything. Usually in the morning she is right as rain and has forgotten it all.
Sabrina told her if she’s not well they can still go to the competition to cheer her friends on even if she can’t do it herself and that settled her a bit.
Today Sabrina took us to see their new house. It’s a really lovely eco new build and will be lovely for the girls as other young families are moving there too.
Sabrina was so excited when she saw all the kitchen appliances being delivered. 16th May is the moving in date…hopefully.
When we got back from the ice rink Melanie was there so it was nice to catch up and she’s coming to collect me in the morning to go and stay at hers overnight.
Goodnight ;-) X
