Rose in the Rain

The Alexander which knows no sense has been particularly sneaky this year! Pruned, with a capital 'P', to about 5 feet tall last autumn, it had shown little inclination to stretch itself when I left it a month ago.

I returned yesterday to find it in flower and back to its 10 foot silliness! I swear it has a mind of its own! But I suppose 'if you've got it, flaunt it'!
