I killed three birds with the one stone this afternoon with a trip back to Stirlingshire.

First I popped in at P's to collect the freezer contents that I'd forgotten to take when I left a fortnight ago. Leo was stretched out fast asleep on the sofa, but he did open an eyelid to acknowledge my presence.

Next I met friends Alison and Marie for lunch in The Clachan - the excellent Malaysian lamb casserole had an extra kick to it today, we agreed - and then I hurried over to Killearn to make it on time for my haircut appointment.

I think I'm coming down with a cold, so I'm about to see if I can stop it in its tracks with a rum and Coke ;-)
