Brucie Brucie?
well some of us will understand why it was nice to see him, to see him, nice! (uk telly icon of the 70s) but in reality it’s a statue of Robert the Bruce, at the centre of his mightiest battle, the defeat of English invaders in 1314 at Bannockburn, in modern day Stirling.
I stopped by the battlefield on my way home from some policing things in edinburgh, as it was a lovely evening and I fancied a short walk on a blood-soaked battlefield. Don’t we all?!
