In the morning I was to go out with my class for a puffin and peregrine walk - but the weather was so shocking that our leader cancelled at the last minute, so I took advantage of my sister being here and went for a quick jaunt to Sunk Island.

It was terrible overcast, so the only blips I have to offer are a slightly fuzzy kestrel .. or this rather dull wood pigeon, raising his wing in the drizzle to help get rid of mites ..

Drove to London in the afternoon and straight to a friend's house where we were joined by other mutual friends for a lovely meal ..
