This is a bit of an unusual shot, although you'd have to know the North Norfolk Railway to know why. The line runs from Sheringham to Holt and back, and there is no turntable at either end. Consequently, all the rolling stock is always facing the same way. It doesn't make any difference to the diesels which are double ended but the steam engines all face Holt and then run backwards back to Sheringham (pay attention at the back!). Except this one. This is a visitor to the line for the summer and faces Sheringham, so here it is approaching Windpump Crossing on its way from Holt to Sheringham this morning. OK, you can stop yawning now.
I've added an extra. This morning a Pied Wagtail decided to have a wash and brush up on the bench right outside the kitchen door. It was there for quite a while so I took these shots of it. I had to take them through the window with my phone, and on 10x zoom so the pictures don't hold up if you look too closely but it was fascinating to see it so close.
