Nil by mouth

Apparently I should have been on nil by mouth ahead of some tests but the message had not transferred to my chart. So I had the delight of savoury mince with dough ball for dinner. Then from midnight onto nil by mouth. Gradually getting used to be wired up to drips and oxygen cables. And discovering the fun of negotiating access to the toilet with a cable that is almost too short to access the washbasin. (An extension cable soon sorted that)
