Marathon

The first ever Shrewsbury Marathon took place today. Whoever planned the route wasn't being too kind since it involved several laps of a long circuit that included running up most of the steepest and longest hills in town, but about 2500 people were undeterred and took part in either the half or full marathon. I wasn't among them, instead preferring to turn out for the start to clap supportively and look out for interesting images.
