Brimstone

Shock horror - no rain!! And less windy too!! Let's see how long this calmer weather lasts for!

A bit of sunshine lured us out to a nearby nature reserve today as Nightingales have been spotted there recently - we didn't see them but we sure did hear them which was lovely!  And good to hear the Chiff Chaffs too amongst the songbird chatter!  Even the birds were happy with the weather today it seemed!  Had a couple of buzzards overhead too, along with long tailed tits, blue tits, magpies, warblers and goldfinch.

And butterflies were about too including this lovely Brimstone.  Also saw speckled wood, peacock and small white.
