Today I met Pat Bremner at the National Museum of Scotland for the Mary Queen of Scots exhibition. It was fascinating and filled with history. I most enjoyed the relics and jewels and coins and seeing her letters and writing. So amazing that these things are still on the planet. Later we had coffee and cake and talked about genealogy.

It was early to bed in preparation for tomorrow's highland adventure.
