Oh La La

Late night trip to Shangri-La as I didn't fancy any of the headliners on any of the stages, although I heard Bobby Womack on the way in. Great to be at Shangri-La as it busied up; must go for the full experience next year. Saw some live toasting by Mad Professor, and some very loud Drum N Bass from Rudimental. Has its place I suppose.

Earlier saw PiL who were good, Vampire Weekend who I like better on record, a bit of Editors (meh), and then Smashing Pumpkins, who I liked a lot, as did the crowd. Good mix of old and new stuff, although someone should have warned Billy Corgan that his t-shirt was too short - muffin top!

Met even more lovely folk, just a shame it has to end tonight and we go home tomorrow.
