Embracing the seasons
An early morning dawn chorus walk to chat with L, enjoy a nice cup of tea and collect Logan.
Damp walk home still listening to some wonderful bird song.
Breakfast of apple and mango crumble, custard and a banana!
L arrived late morning with waterproofed children and so Logan, Ben and I headed off in the soft drizzly weather on a bird spotting and listening adventure.
We slithered our way across the Commons and followed the river along to the Puffing Billy For a late breakfast bap and a warm beverage.
Wet but very satisfied we returned along some slightly better pathways, still admiring spring developing in leaf, flower and bird life.
Chiff chaffs, nuthatches, Numerous Wrens, blue, great, long tailed and coal tits, goldcrest, woodpeckers, jackdaws, Several swallows and House Martins, Buzzards, greenfinches, goldfinches, hedge and house Sparrows, starlings, Carrion crows, pied wagtails, wood pigeon, moorhen, Blackcaps were most of the birds we saw or heard.
Muddy boots!
Auntie hearing is deteriorated recently , tonight I managed to Service one of her hearing and it certainly helped.
We are waiting for an audiology appointment in two weeks.
I performed my stretches and exercises which the physiotherapist recommended, soreness is bearable.
Thank the Lord for everything:)
