Dinosaurs Or Not

They rocked. Great set by Mascis, Murph and Lou on the Park Stage. Even played a Deep Wound song. Crowd very into it, and great to hear that level of volume outside.

Guy next to us was fly-casting an alien into the crowd and then pulling it back. There was no reason other than it being fun.

Weather has dried out and the ground is pretty dry already. Not sure that noodles for breakfast was a good idea, but Beady Eye put me off anything else. The Hives were right though; they were awesome and should have been much higher up the bill. Crowd loved them; never seen such hard work by a frontman get such a great response. Good start to the festival. Later saw Django Django, which was OK, and then Chic, playing Nile Rogers hits. Best moment was Lets Dance.
