A Mixed Bag

Apart from going to make sure the cats are still alive .... and to put the bin out for Bags I haven't been anywhere.

I did a repair job on part turned piece which had split during drying .... and made the lid.
I also made a small lidded pot ... and repurposed a spinning top as the lid (it refused to spin). It wasn't going to stay looking like a spinning top, but as I was removing the lower 1/3rd and spinning tip the Ebony tip took on the rather nice shape .... so I left it.
Then it was the turn of the desiccated tulip flower .... and the crystal ball in the pile of bowls (see above). There are 3 shots of each here.

I made sure that my travel insurance had been put in place (the application arrived by 11am) and SWMBO is currently booking flights to Morocco.
