Little Wren
How delightful watching this little Wren darting here and there in front of the kitchen window.
It is very busy building a nest in a climbing hydrangea, which is holding up a drain pipe from next door, which comes down onto our property. ( it’s complicated!)
I was very lucky to manage a photo as it was like lightening going backwards and forwards with building material. This was taken as it perched on top of our wood store before flying up into the nest. Very well hidden.
So despite not feeding them, the birds haven’t deserted our garden.
I hope the Male entices a female to this nest when he has finished. It is many years since we had baby wrens in the garden.
Cold dismal day, yet again!
