Christ Church Russell (Kororaeka)

Built in 1835 Christ Church is the oldest surviving Church in New Zealand. The buildings and grounds are immaculately maintained. There are a number of bullet holes in the weatherboards, reflecting the often turbulent early colonisation of our country. Russell was the first Capital of our country.
