Nor-West Gold
There was a magnificent red and gold sunrise this morning.... and I was not up on the Wither Hills to witness and capture the glory of it. No, sad to say I had given the Wither Hills a miss and had headed to the river with the dogs. The colours were all but gone by the time I drove up the road and organised ourselves for the walk.
However as we walked along the tracks the sun dipped below the cloud cover in the east and shone across the landscape in a glorious shade of gold. Nor-west gold. It was there and gone within seconds and luckily my point and shoot Lumix was on hand. Perhaps I will have better luck tomorrow morning and strike another red and gold sunrise whilst up on the Wither Hills.
