Bluebells
TUESDAY
A very wet and windy morning with lots of localised flooding and road closures. A number of the seafront roads and car parks were apparently closed by the council as the high tide and strong winds made for dangerous conditions.
The rain eased by lunchtime and early afternoon I headed down to the bowling club at Rhuddlan to watch the team beat a team from Rhyl. I didn't play today but offered support from the side of the green.
Home in bright sunshine and spotted these bluebells in full flower at the roadside.
The extra shows the River Clwyd at Rhuddlan. It was in full flow early afternoon and enormous tree branches were being swept downstream in the strong current - see this photo for comparison.
