Homeward bound…..

…….. at last!
I was just topping up the power in the electric car using the fast charger at IKEA when I received the good news from Nick that he was allowed to go home! We had a bit of a nail-biting wait before the final discharge arrangements were put in place and we were able to head for Oban and our ferry home. Nick was very tired from the journey but we were very happy to be back and find Bertie waiting patiently for us, having been dropped off by P and A. It was an added bonus to find a warm welcome as a result of our lovely neighbour John lighting the wood burning stove for us. In addition he had lit the log boiler so there is plenty of hot water for showers to wash away any lingering hospital aromas. We are so fortunate to have a group of very supportive friends.
