Tiny Blooms

This extremely large, spiky, sprawling, cactus usually flowers at this time of year but, preferring the sunshine, all the blooms are facing away from the room, into the sunroom, so I have to lean over the sink to see them. The petals are around 1.5 cm high.

The plant has almost doubled in size since 2018, so imagine the thrill of balancing the phone amongst all those spines, while avoiding all their sharp little tips that embed themselves in the skin forever, just to catch a photo for Tiny Tuesday.

It sounds like brilliant fun, as I'm sure you'll agree... .
