Outside looking in .

The cheerful bird caught my eye as Bramble and I returned home from our evening wander.
Today’s golden moment was the appearance of several varieties of birds on the feeder in the back garden . They deserted it several years ago after the last tree in the back alley was chopped down . I assumed that they abandoned our garden because there weren’t any places to perch . The robins, blackbirds and occasional pigeons were our only avian visitors. The pyracantha that I planted is now tall enough and bushy enough for the other birds to perch and feel safe . That’s my guess anyway !
