Cracked & Crazed

After the opening of the camera club photo exhibit yesterday evening and handbells this morning, both in Thurso, I was tired by the time I got home and didn't go out again.
I took these two plastic containers out of the recycling.  DH had got them years ago to keep his sourdough starter in.  Then he decided it was too much trouble to keep the starter going when he wasn't actually making bread.  Latterly the jars were used for coffee beans, and recently I got them out to use for kimchi.  Then I put them through the dishwasher, and now they leak.  They're over ten years old and only good for dry storage, so I pushed sentiment aside and put them in the recycling.
