A bit of R&R

After a couple of nice warm, sunny days, today we got the rain that has been coming across the country so we stayed in to do a few things.  I don't know how long this wood pigeon stood on the top of the arch but I saw him there for well over an hour, only occasionally turning to face the other way or quickly preen himself under the wing.  I'd swear I saw him yawn a few times too.  I took this through the glass so as not to disturb him but also to prevent getting wet, as it was pouring with rain at the time.
