Spring lambs

Thankfully on Mull the wind died down overnight and it was lovely to see sunshine, warmth and the lambs playing in the fields.

There is always plenty to do on the Croft but even more so this year as D and L are sadly planning to sell up as they feel the effects of advancing years. We have enjoyed our many visits to this lovely peaceful place and over the years have got to know the local Crofting family of H , her mum and aunt and her Gaelic speaking granny who is much missed as she has passed away since our last visit.

This time it is H and her girls that we are seeing as they come to feed and check up on her mum’s sheep and lambs that are kept on D and L’s Croft.
