Upstairs and Downstairs

Well you've seen some of the beautiful upstairs at Wimpole.  So now here is a glimpse of downstairs.  

We were busy again today.  Many schools are still on Easter holiday. Lots of families with children of all ages.  I spent the late morning in the Housekeeper's Room which I enjoy.  In the afternoon I was at the exit door and the final room which belonged to the steward.  He was very important - second in command to the Lord who owned the whole of the estate. A good but quite a tiring day!
