Woolly Necked Stork
The overnight hide which we started at 3 in the afternoon lasted for 17 hours. The usual suspects arrived - the warthog family, the the water buffalo but in the morning we had a visit from 2 Woolley-necked storks who prowled round the edges of the water looking for food. This beetle had an unfortunate demise!
After lunch we had another Game Drive with a fabulous surprise at the end of it as the lodge staff had set up a table with drinks and snacks on the side of the hippo lake bathed in the orange glow of the setting sun. It was a truly lovely experience.
A back blip as I'd lost the days shots!
I don't understand why this is sharp on my computer and not here!
