Irish jig

Well, this is not a great photo, but it will do as a journal shot. This evening I went to see the Celtic Sailors: a French group playing Irish music in their own way and, as you can see, with two dancers to enliven the show. You can't really go wrong with traditional Irish music played enthusiastically, although it wasn't the best I've heard and suffered from a lack of female voices. The highlight was the harmonica player, who was really good but had few opportunities to shine.

Had a call from S this evening -- he's still going, even though he's having to make detours and wade through thigh-high rivers.
