Last Thursday (04/04) I Blipped my struggles because I had bought the wrong size hole saw. 

This time the hole worked with the thread on the fixing – very secure.
 
The two unconnected butts will be moved behind the linked two, roughly where the blue container is (when I have emptied the water into the other two).
 
I’m on a water meter so hopefully this will get me through a summer season (assuming we actually get a dry summer).
