Elgar

We planned to go to the cafe at the antique place near Bromyard for coffee and lunch.  Unfortunately when we arrived we found it was only open Wednesday to Sunday, contrary to what it said on their website.

So a change of plan, we decided to head for Broadheath and Elgar's Birthplace.  It was fairly quiet there and we had coffee and lunch at their cafe.  

After lunch we had a good look around the gardens, full of spring flowers. Ann went into the house and I explored the gardens with camera in hand.  

Today is Mono Monday hosted by JohnEdward, theme Abstract.   The main picture is taken from a mural on the visitor's centre outside wall.  I've added a pic from the garden to the extras; you can just about see Elgar sitting admiring the view in the far background
