2024 Saturday — At 7:21p.m.

As the calendar moves consistently forward, the sun sets in a place a little more north each day. I am standing at the extreme south end of our front room.

Even though we thoroughly enjoy watching the sun drop below the water of the Pacific Ocean, this little house would be so very hot if the sun hit us directly from the front during the summer months (except that many summer days are often foggy). Therefore it is good that the sun comes from a much more south to north direction during the middle months of the year. So until October, we’ll be watching the sunset each evening, as the sun slips behind those hills.

That’s about it for this first Saturday in April. Last week at this time we were in SoCal.
