Ponies and Dragonfly

Not what you might expect from the title but the children, Buddy and Hendrix were visiting again, dug out the 'My Little Pony' ponies and they had them all lined up along the fireplace. 
The twins mother, our daughter Julia, absolutely loved My Little Pony when she herself was little, and these are the original ones that she used to play with. She's now 37.
The other photograph is from when we went over to the park, which also has playing fields. There was a father and his children flying a Dragonfly kite. It wasn't too successful for a while because the wind was so strong. It kept twisting the kite this way and that until it would nose-dive into the ground. After a while we seemed to get a bit of a lull and they had great fun getting into the air, but this is the best shot of it I could get.
While we were at the playing part of the park there was a lady with her young son. They had a Staffordshire terrier tied up to the fence. Bella went to stroke her and I told her to stop, we must ask the lady first. She said that the dog was fine, and she, the dog, proved her right. It was a beautiful example of a very friendly Staffy, a breed that has a bad name because of the idiots that get them to train to be vicious.
