Man Versus Egg
I was up at the crack of dawn today (o.k that's pushing it a bit but it was still only 6 a.m) to get my roast shoulder of pork ready for this afternoon's big Easter Sunday lunch. Including making the spice rub and slow roasting it it takes six hours but it is worth all the effort (he said modestly!).
However, once it was in the oven there was time for an expeditious glass of Prosecco (or two) and to crack on with some early doors Easter egg consumption so as not to ruin our appetites for later. I wanted to capture an ovoid based image for today's blip so I got my brother to adopt this pose and underexposed the shot slightly to get him in silhouette.
Everything turned out well for our lunch and rather unsurprisingly considering our chocolate intake we didn't have room for the hot cross bun bread and butter pudding with rhubarb compote so I decided to leave making it until tomorrow.
