Leaving Houton

Ony thirty minutes before this scene the MV Hoy Head (newly arrived back after a refit at Peterhead) couldn’t get her passengers off.  High water had totally swamped the pier, so the Sunday timetable was delayed.  We had popped along to Houton to say cheerio to Katy who is flying back down to Aberdeen.  We then went to visit my Mum who was quite mixed up.  Once again tomorrow she is going to Paris for the day.  Post visit we went along to Stromness for messages and also delivered archive material to the Hoy Heritage Officer.  Back at HQ I sent off invites for an event in the Hoy Kirk later in the month.  Ordered some seeds.  That is all.
