Llanberis Lone Tree

It should have been a multi-period living history day out to Bodrhyddan Hall, which was cancelled yesterday because of the rain and wind. but the organisers didn't put it on their website. Never mind, we'll carry on to Penrhyn Castle at Bangor. It was shut because of the high winds. So, more a case of what "won't be shut or cancelled" than "lets go to Llanberis".

A very much photographed tree, but I don't think I've blipped it before. And, for once, there wasn't a queue of photographers with their tripods. The rain and wind must have kept them at home.
