Scarce Swallowtail

I get such pleasure from seeing unexpected things on my walks down in Vaucluse. The vines are bursting into leaf, the verges are packed with a huge variety of wildflowers, the poppies are adding splashes of red and black caps, blackbirds, European serins, and a variety of tits are singing away. But best today was this lovely butterfly!
