Bookshop

We went to Barter Books in Alnwick today. It’s a second hand bookstore which is just amazing! It is huge and very dog friendly with a cafe. We also met our friends who we used to live near to. They have been in Australia visiting their son and his family. J is also E’s godmother so it was so nice to be altogether.
E and C are down for the weekend so we went for a meal in the Craster Arms which is just round the corner from our holiday home.
The meal was delicious and there was live music.
