It's Curtains

Today was our day in Southampton sans the two fillies who took a day off in the hotel carpark.

After failing at getting up early it was prudent to opt for a taxi to make the trip to the amazing volunteer run Hovercraft Museum in Lee On The Solent. Ms.Arell had the pleasure of 'flying' across the channel to France aboard an SRN4 hovercraft in her teens and spent some time in the passenger cabin breathing it in rekindling memories :-)

They were retired from service in October 2000. Here is the rear end of said mythical machine, born in the 1960s amongst other visions of the future such as Jaguar E-Types, Aerospatiale supersonic Concorde's & Apollo Moon missions...I mean...Wow!
