Azalea

Today's the day ...................... to do the rounds

At this time of the year, things in the garden are growing so quickly that you really have to have a little walk around every day, to keep up with it all.

Suddenly, this beautiful violet-blue azalea is in full bloom - a gift from some past owner of this house.  It always makes me think of my Mum and Dad because they had a similar one in their Edinburgh garden.  And I know that the one in extras is going to make Will very happy when he sees it - because it's a marsh marigold that he introduced near his pond.  It has suddenly appeared too - or so it seems.

It's one of my favourite times of the year in the garden - lots of interesting plants to see that have made it through the winter - but before everything goes completely mad and gets totally out of hand ......................!
