Nas gaothaiche
As forecast it has been much windier today but not so much this morning that we couldn't make our was to the beach at Loch Losait, known locally as Sgurr Bay thanks to the cliffs behind it. Its the one I visited on my own on Thursday and nice to go back with T. The tide was out revealling black-ish sand and interesting patterns.
The rest of the day has been much windier but bright with some showers. We ventured out for a short walk - it was fine going up the road with wind behind us but much harder coming back. We were rewarded by rainbows.
Whilst indoors I’ve read, needle felted a highland cow and researched the people who lived on this croft in the late 1800s/ early 1900s. Really interesting insight into times gone by.
Last night tonight. I've really enjoyed exploring Waternish - something to be said for focusing on a smallish area.
