Cleavers: Galium aparine

With a Ringlet Butterfly attached - Aphantopus hyperantus

This specimen looked in pristine condition so had probably recently emerged.
It is also the first ringlet that I have seen this year.

I actually went out hoping to get birds (lbjs) again but nothing came close enough to the bush I was hiding under. Just a distant tree sparrow and a whitethroat. I also heard skylarks and yellowhammers (and others that I don't recognise).

No matter, I'll be back for another try later this week.
