A Saucy Wind.

This evening I cooked up a self-saucing chocolate cake/pudding, that I haven't eaten since childhood. I haven't cut into yet as I'm hoping it will travel to the sailing club tomorrow and I can eat a spoonful or two whilst watching Storm Kathleen kicking up some dramatic waves on Bassenthwaite. 
Earlier on today, after Keep Fit at Loweswater, I was tempted to have a dip in the lake there. This intention rapidly faded as the wind was already getting up and although the picture doesn't look too wild, as I watched, the water became more and more choppy.  Invigorating to look at, but a misery to have slapping into your mouth and ears. Anyway, I chickened out.
