Lockey Farm

What a difference a day can make, I feel so much better today!

Woken by the alarm this morning as I had to be online for my speed awareness course.  The facilitator was nice and it was a good reminder.  I didn't appreciate that one of the reasons for 20 zones is to reduce pollution and so that made a bit more sense to me and some interesting road safety facts.  I don't make a habit of speeding but got caught out as I was unaware of the 20 zone, but I do need to be more careful in future to look for the signage.

After that the four of us went to Lockey Farm for a tour.  It's a grass/hay farm with a herd of sheep.  The farmer gave an interesting talk about what a difficult winter it has been as it's been so wet.  The sheep are still mostly in the barn because of the boggy fields and poor grass growing.

We had a lovely cuddle with some lambs and a wonder around the farm.  We also had a lovely pizza lunch in the cafe.  Home now before taking the girls to the hairdressers and then planning on watching the Disney movie Wish this evening.
