1614: Pocahontas marries John Rolfe
Quote Of The Day
"At the minute of my execution, Pocahontas hazarded the beating out of her own brains to save mine; and not only that but so prevailed with her father, that I was safely conducted to Jamestown."
(Captain John Smith)
A wonderful day. Beautiful weather. Prizes awarded for Easter bonnets. Stations of the Cross assembly. A whole afternoon of Summer Panto performance with singers, dancers and actors all coming together for the first time; it looks fantastic!
I'm blessed to be a part of all this.
